A Peek at our Week~ KA Edition

Week of 5/14

This week in KA, we learned many things.  Here are some of them:

·      Language Arts- singular and plural pronouns (I, you, he, she, it, we, they); past, present, and future tense of verbs, writing the numbers 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5

·      Reading- sight words: are, to do, was

·      Writing- writing about our field trip and making “All About ____” stories

·      Math- recognizing all types of patterns, creating different types of patterns, counting in different ways (skip counting, counting forward, counting backwards)

·      Science- parts of a plant, watching lima beans sprout

Next week, we will be continuing our science unit on plants.  We will be watching our lima beans everyday and recording how they change and grow.

THANK YOU to all of the chaperones for our Van Saun Zoo field trip!  We had so much fun and we hope you did as well!  Thank you for all of your help!
