The Ethical Community Charter School (TECCS) is thrilled to announce our Inaugural Color Run, happening on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Lincoln Park in Jersey City. This family-friendly event will bring together students, staff, families, alumni, and the broader community for a morning of fun, fitness, and school spirit.
The Color Run is not just about running — it’s about community and impact. As participants run or walk through the course, they will pass through color splash stations and celebrate together in a finale color throw. Laughter, music, and plenty of color will make this a day to remember!
Why We Run
Each year, TECCS invests nearly $70,000 to ensure that all students have access to enriching field trips and overnight learning experiences. Proceeds from the Color Run will directly support these opportunities, helping us reach our goal of $10,000 and making sure that no child is left out due to financial need.
How to Participate
Students: Every child has their own fundraising page through 99Pledges. Families can personalize the page and share it with friends and relatives to collect support. A minimum $10 pledge by October 8th secures a Color Run T-shirt for event day.
Parents, Guardians, Staff & Community Members: Adults are welcome to run too! Simply create a pledge page with a $15 minimum pledge to join the fun.
Volunteers: We need 25–30 volunteers to make this day a success. From check-in to color stations, there are many ways to lend a hand.

Students: Bracelets, sunglasses, swag bags, and more based on pledge levels.
